Click here to learn more! Do I still need to add calcium and multivitamins?
Every reptile has different needs. We believe that owners know their pet's needs best, and it is always easier to add something like supplements to a meal when it is served than it is to remove them. As a general rule, we recommend using a calcium dusting every other feeding, and a multivitamin dusting once or twice a month.
How do I feed Omni-Blocks to my reptile?
It's super simple! Just thaw and feed! Blocks can be thawed at room temperature on a small plate or paper towel. Or, to speed up the process, a block may be placed in a plastic baggie and floated in a mug of warm water until thawed, similar to thawing a frozen feeder mouse.
How long is shipping time?
We ship using FedEx flat-rate two-day delivery so that your order arrives promptly. We ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to ensure that your order arrives on a business day. Please select your preferred day, if you have one, while ordering.
How can I track my order?
When your order is shipped, you will be sent a tracking number, so that you can keep an eye on when it is due to arrive. Due to Omni-Blocks nature as a frozen food, please be sure that you will be home when it arrives, and bring it inside promptly to place in your freezer. If it thawed during transit, it's not the end of the world, please follow the instructions for how to properly re-portion and re-freeze your Omni-Blocks.
Will my Omni-Blocks still be frozen when I get them?
We do our best, but if you live in a hot climate, sometimes blocks may thaw while in transit during warmer times of the year. Even if they thaw, they will still arrive refrigerator-cold, and can be safely re-portioned and re-frozen without harm to the blocks.
Help! My blocks thawed in transit!
Sometimes, despite best efforts, the weather still wins. But all is not lost. Keep packages vacuum-sealed and frozen until ready to manually portion them out. When ready to portion, simply fill an ice cube tray with the package of thawed Omni-Blocks and re-freeze in the freezer. Alternatively, put down a sheet of wax paper or aluminum foil onto a baking sheet, and put 1-2 tablespoon-sized dollops onto the baking sheet, and re-freeze the dollops to form single servings.
Why is the cost of shipping so high?
We use two-day FedEx delivery with flat-rate shipping to get you your order as fast as possible. Unfortunately, the costs of shipping are dependent on FedEx, and thus out of our hands.
Why do you not use fruit?
For most reptiles, fruit is a high-value reward and treat. By not using fruit in the base recipe, we ensure that owners can continue to give their pets treats without having to worry about overfeeding on fruit.
